Increase relevant learning through authentic, compelling local and global engagements

Optimize each student’s capacity to learn through individualized experiences and opportunities

Nurture the whole child including social-emotional, academic, and physical well-being

Invigorate ISB’s practice based on best research on teaching and learning methods and the changing realities of the 21st Century

Increase access to expertise and new learning opportunities through additional collaborative efforts and networks beyond ISB

 


Skills & Requirements


Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Chinese language and/or literature

Native level Mandarin

Current, relevant teaching certification/licensure from a recognized/ accredited organization 

Minimum of five years of successful full-time teaching experience

Experience in teaching relevant Chinese curriculum to diverse learners in an international school environment

Theoretical and practical understanding of effective Chinese teaching and learning strategies

Evidence of Chinese curriculum design and planning by incorporating relevant thinking and reflective skills

Fluent in the English language
