We are looking to appoint a talented individual for the post of Emotional Wellbeing Practitioner who would like to work with, support and contribute to the wellbeing of young people at Hasmonean High School (girls).
This is a school with an outstanding track record both for academic results and pastoral care.
This position is intended to enhance and further develop our pastoral provision at the Girls’ school. The successful candidate must primarily be able to build rapport and engender trust with our students through successful group programming that will engage all students.
We believe in giving our students the tools they need to build their future socially and emotionally as well as academically.

Hasmonean Grammar School for Boys opened in 1929, with the aim of providing Jewish children with a first class Jewish and secular education, a view not commonly held at the time. In 1936 Hasmonean Grammar School for Girls opened and both schools absorbed refugees from Europe whilst continuing to provide education and stability for the children during these challenging times. In 1984 Hasmonean High was created via the amalgamation of Hasmonean Boys’ and Girls’ Schools, although each currently remains on its own site.
Hasmonean has voluntary aided status and was one of the first Jewish schools to become an academy in October 2011. We are consistently rated as one of the top non-selective state schools in the country.

About Hasmonean High School
Hasmonean High School is a centre of educational excellence serving the Orthodox Jewish Community of North-West London. Boys and girls are taught separately on two campuses. Our school combines the secular with the religious within a framework of Torah Im Derech Eretz (respect for others, both within the school community and in the wider world).
