This newly established post, in conjunction with the Community Wellbeing Project, is initially for one year. This is a part time post: 2 days a week (or equivalent over 3 days, Tuesday, Wednesday and / or Thursday), Term time plus two weeks Starting January 2019.

Rimon Jewish Primary School is looking to appoint a talented individual for our newly created post of Emotional Wellbeing Practitioner who would like to work with, support and contribute to the wellbeing of young people and staff at Rimon Jewish Primary School. This post is part of an exciting pilot project for Mental Health and Wellbeing being run under the guidance of the Jewish Leadership Council. 

The successful candidate will be required to innovate at school in the field of mental health, have a high profile amongst staff and students and must be sensitive to the Jewish ethos of Rimon Jewish Primary School. A successful background in informal youth work would be desirable. 

This is a school with an outstanding track record both for academic results and pastoral care. This newly created position is intended to enhance and further develop our pastoral provision at Rimon as part of our multi-disciplinary team for student wellbeing and safeguarding. The successful candidate must primarily be able to build rapport and engender trust with our students and staff through successful group programming and coaching that will engage all students.
