The college provides further educational opportunities to students aged 19-24 with moderate, severe, profound and multiple learning difficulties or autism. We run three Pathways, Vocational, Life and Living and Engagement for Life.

We are looking to employ an Employability Coach for our Students with excellent skills in liaising with employers. We are interested to hear from you if you have relevant experience in working with children or young adults with SEN.

Our Vocational Students are working towards the development of skills that they need to prepare them for paid employment. Students have access to work experience on site including Horticulture, Catering, and Facilities Management. Students also access external work placements in the community. We expect most students to work towards becoming independent travelers.

We believe that all of our students are capable of making outstanding progress and we want to appoint individuals who share our beliefs. Please refer to the job description and person specification for full details of the role and the skills/experience needed.

We offer a comprehensive Induction, Inset and CPD programme for our staff, a pension scheme and other wellbeing benefits including an employee assistance programme.

Great Oaks College is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people and anyone applying to work at the college is expected to share this commitment. This position is subject to a satisfactory fully enhanced DBS check and references being received. All positions are subject to the satisfactory completion of a 26 working week probation period.
