Totton College, part of Nacro, offers vocational courses to school leavers and adults, covering BTECs, Diplomas, Apprenticeships and Traineeships.

Who we are looking for?

Due to continued growth, the college is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed member of staff, who has experience in direct sales within the FE sector. The successful candidate will have a good knowledge of apprenticeships and be able to identify and engage new and existing employers for the delivery of training services.

Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • To identify and engage new employers and conduct business training needs analysis
  • To ensure employers are fully supported with their training needs and maximise sales of all college products and services
  • Work closely with the curriculum teams to ensure the curriculum offer is in line with the local labour market
  • To account manage employer relationships and support employers with the Apprenticeship Levy and any future changes to funding, ensuring securement of repeat business
     

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of apprenticeships with the ability to work with a variety of external organisations.

Please note: This post will require travel within the local area and on occasions across the country to other Nacro sites.

 Totton College is a sixth form and further education facility in Hampshire. Facilities at the Totton College site include the Opus Salon, gym, media suite, and dance studio. The school is located adjacent to Totton Health And Leisure Centre. The town of Totton has a population of 29,000, and can be accessed by rail and the M27 motorway. The school also hosts facilities in Southampton, which is a fifteen minute drive away. In 2015 the college entered into a merger with crime reduction charity Nacro.
