Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities
1. Actively selling the college’s Capacity and Development Fund and T Level Placements to employers and ensuring they meet college placement criteria and relevant safeguarding issues
2. Generating leads through a variety of methods i.e. attending networking events, telesales, e-marketing
3. Build and maintain strong relationships with employers to develop capacity for future placements
4. Be aware of and promote the full college offer our side of work placements i.e. pre- employment support, apprenticeships etc
5. Complete regular visits to students on placements and liaise with tutors on feedback
6. Recording of student placements and providing appropriate feedback to students, tutors and placement providers
7. Where necessary support the learners’ in class to prepare for placement
8. Maintain the college’s Client Relationship Management System and other college systems as required
9. Recording of student placements and providing appropriate feedback to students, tutors and placement providers and, where appropriate, contribute to learners’ target setting
10. Liaise with appropriate tutors/coordinators to identify specific course requirements in relation to placements being sought
11. Undertake DBS disclosure applications, health and safety checks and medical questionnaires with students
12. Be part of the student selection and support team
13. Effective employer engagement and organization of placement provider events
14. Undertake any other duties commensurate with the nature and grade of the post.

a) Comply with internal and external quality standards that contribute to the College’s strategic aims.
b) Comply with college policies and procedures and health and safety regulations.
c) Support the safeguarding and promotion of students’ welfare.
d) Maintain confidentiality in relation to all College information and to comply with Data Protection Legislation.
