Employment Caseworker

We have an opportunity for an Employment Caseworker to join our Employ Me team to work in Bradford. This role is full time, Monday to Friday (37.5 hours per week).

Mencap's Lifestyles and Work team provide supported employment programmes for people with a learning disability. Employ Me is a funded project that provides support to gain the skills, knowledge and experience for progression in to paid employment.

Working across the Bradford area you will support a cohort of NEET learners to identify their goals and aspirations developing activities for them to re-engage with education, training and employment opportunities.

We are looking for individuals who can work on their own initiative, have good communication skills across all levels, interpersonal skills and.be approachable.

The successful Employment Caseworker will directly support people with a learning disability, autism and special educational needs (SEND).

You will work collaboratively with educational providers, within a school setting and support agencies. You will work with and support young people individually and in groups to develop plans and activities which will take them closer to employment.
