Job overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and self-motivated Team leader/Programme Coordinator to join our Apprenticeship programme within our Lifestyles and Work team.

The successful candidate will lead and manage Tutors and Caseworkers for Apprenticeships, to support delivery of the programme. They will ensure that all the programmes within their portfolio are delivered to the agreed curriculum, frameworks and methodology and ensure they meet internal and external standards for quality and impact. This includes Ofsted and ESFA criteria.

This position is a permanent full time role, 37.5 hours per week over Monday – Friday, covering the Bristol and Somerset area.

Key skills and requirements (essential):

  • Experience of delivering Apprenticeship programme
  • Understanding of different Apprenticeship standards
  • Experience in practitioner area
  • Experience in managing and developing staff
  • Experience in leading and coaching staff
  • Performance management
  • Effective record keeping and reporting
  • Financial management
  • Working towards targets
  • Handling complexity

All candidates offered an interview for this role will need to provide evidence of their GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent) at interview stage
