We are looking to appoint an inspirational and enthusiastic teacher of Engineering and Technology who has a passion for their subject and a commitment to ensuring students share their passion through motivating teaching and learning. 

Fulham Cross Academy (FCA) is an 11-16 converter academy with 6th form.  It forms part of Fulham Cross Academy Trust (FCAT), a small multi academy trust (MAT) together with Fulham Cross Girls’ School (FCGS).

FCA is a STEM specialist school.  Whilst there is a focus on STEM, we pride ourselves on having a broad and balanced curriculum that is innovative and future focussed.  We are driven by a passion to see the young people who arrive through our doors succeed.  We are committed to providing a high quality, forward thinking education for our students – equipping them with the tools to flourish beyond our walls.

We are a forward-thinking school who want our staff to be reflective, pro-active professionals dedicated to improving the life chances of the community that we serve.  The successful applicant will be asked to teach a variety of subjects within the Engineering and Technology Department, including BTEC and GCSE specifications. Experience in these subject areas is an advantage.

Fulham Cross Academy is in a fascinating position of augmentation; having formerly been a boys only school, we are nearly fully transitioned into a mixed school and have female students in Years 7, 8, 9 and our Trust Sixth Form. We are a STEM specialist school encouraging all of our students to pursue an interests in Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths. We cater for young people from the ages of 11 – 19 and we wish for all of our students to remain in the trust to complete their GCSE and A Level/Vocational education in our Trust Sixth Form, which we run alongside our Trust Secondary School partner – Fulham Cross Girls’ School.
