We are  looking for an outstanding Headteacher to lead Secondary School at CIS Russia.

Our school 

We offer a full private education for 600 children between the ages of 3 and 18 years old. From age 5, all our students follow the Cambridge Pathway, a British curriculum developed by Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE, part of the University of Cambridge). The curriculum starts with the Early Years Foundation Stage goes through all the way to Cambridge IGCSE, AS and A Level in the senior years.  Beyond an excellent package, we offer a supportive atmosphere for our staff, opportunities for professional development through Cambridge International's workshops and training, and a community atmosphere, where children are eager to learn and achieve goals and parents are offered plentiful opportunities to communicate with teachers.

CIS Education Group occupies three impressive campuses in Moscow area: Moscow Campus, Skolkovo Campus and Gorki Campus.


CIS International School Moscow Campus is located to the north of Moscow, amongst residential areas where a number of visiting foreign families live, surrounded by beautiful gardens and parks. There are a number of business centres near the campus. Campus opened its doors in 2010 and have students from Year 1 to Year 10. In 2021 we will have our first cohort of students sitting their IGCSEs. We are a relatively small school with high expectations and standards. We teach both the Cambridge and the Russian curriculum, and have an exciting extra-curricular activities programme.


CIS International School Skolkovo Campus is in the western part of Moscow in the vicinity of the Skolkovo Innovation Centre, surrounded by a national park and numerous sports fields. The school was opened in 2011 and has students from Nursery to Sixth Form. Our graduates are excellent achievers of the best universities around the world.


CIS International School Gorki Campus is an outstanding recent addition to the CIS Education Group situated to the west of Central Moscow in beautiful countryside but with easy access to central Moscow. All classes are limited to a maximum of 18 students, with the younger years receiving additional classroom support through Learning Assistants and Nannies. Throughout the school, the Cambridge curriculum is taught for approximately 75% of the time with the remainder given to the Russian curriculum. Our expatriate students study Russian as an additional language but also have time to explore their own interests through a personalised learning programme. Our education is based on a values based system. This is based on five key values: People Centered, Openness, Responsibility, Innovation, and Globally minded. This runs through everything that we do and our students exhibit these qualities.
