SECONDARY ENGLISH & MEDIA TEACHER
We seek an experienced, flexible and well-qualified professional who combines creative energy with the highest teaching standards. Above all we seek a real commitment to academic excellence. We require a B.Ed. or PGCE (or equivalent) with a minimum of 2 years relevant teaching experience and qualified teacher status (QTS). This is a full time post (from 1/9/17 for a minimum of 2 years)
We are looking for someone who can teach English & Media in the secondary school. Please indicate in your letter of application any additional subjects you are able to offer.
The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of the importance of observing and assessing student's development in order to inform planning. She / he will be familiar with English programs of study and will be able to create a welcoming and stimulating classroom environment. Knowledge and experience of teaching GCSE and A Level courses is important as is knowledge of the recent changes.
