Itchen Sixth Form College is looking to appoint, on a permanent, full-time or substantial part time basis, an enthusiastic teacher of English and/or Media to join our highly successful English & Media faculty from September 2019. The curriculum covers a full range of post-16 courses from entry level to level 3 CTEC and A levels. 

Applications are welcome from candidates with experience of level 1 teaching, level 2 teaching, level 3 teaching or a combination of levels in either English and/or Media courses. Applicants may be newly qualified or experienced in either a school or college setting but must have a passion for their subject and the ability to inspire students to reach their full potential and show a clear commitment to delivering quality teaching to students.

Itchen College is a mixed, non-selective, non-denominational further education college in Hampshire, serving students from the age of 16-19. The college, situated in Southampton has approximately 1,558 learners on record.

Itchen College was founded in 1906 as a co-educational secondary school and later Itchen Grammar School. It welcomes learners from across the world, with 10% making up international students. Facilities on the campus include a sports centre, performing arts block – features Apple Mac suites, recording studios and soundproof music rooms, and a Student Centre for students to relax in during their study breaks.
