The Experience 

Heywood Preparatory School educates boys and girls from age 2 to 11. At the end of Year 6, the majority of children leave for a wide range of selective independent senior schools in the area.  The school has an excellent track record of preparing and achieving entry into the first choice school for pupils and great care and consideration is given to ensure each child enters the senior school best suited to their needs.  Heywood Prep is a happy school which produces caring, thoughtful children. The Opportunity 

The school has gone through a rapid period of growth and investment in the past five years and as a result, we are operating waiting lists in several year groups.  Following this successful expansion, we are looking to further raise our standards and curriculum offering. We invite applications from high quality and experienced candidates for the role of English Subject Co-ordinator, who have the passion, motivation and leadership qualities to drive change in their subject area across the school community. Located in the heart of Corsham, Wiltshire, the school is housed in a beautiful Grade II listed Georgian building constructed in 1776. Heywood Prep educates boys and girls from age 2 to 11. At the end of Year 6, the majority of children leave for independent senior schools in Bath and Wiltshire, many winning awards and scholarships. At present, we have approximately 260 children on roll.
