Job overview
Applications are invited for the post of English Coach/ Small Group Tutor to help support learners in English across both KS3 and KS4, particularly for those in receipt of pupil premium funding and below L4 on entry into Year 7.
We are looking for a passionate, motivated and dedicated tutor to work in partnership with teaching and other educational support staff. You will provide individual tuition for pupils, working with them either in the classroom or in groups as directed by teaching staff within a structured teaching situation.
The postholder will be responsibile for coordinating the faculity's positivge behaviour reward system.
Norton Canes High School is a small, friendly 11 - 18 school. It has excellent resources and a team committed to improving academic success.

Post is are initially for 15 hours per week by negotiation, term time only. This will suit someone looking for a flexible work life balance. Candidates who are returning to the classroom or looking to become an English teacher would be welcome.
