Lucton School Shanghai (LSS) opened in September 2019 and is based on the tradition and educational achievement of Lucton School UK, founded over 310 years ago.

LSS is a co-educational full boarding school teaching a British curriculum in English. It will grow over the first three years to take 300 students, all accommodated in individual boarding rooms.

Two year and one year IGCSE courses are offered together with a wide range of co-curricular activities and a super-curriculum designed to enrich student’s opportunities and ambitions. After sitting the IGCSE exams, all students will then have the choice of either staying in Lucton Shanghai for their A Levels, or moving to Lucton School in the UK for their A Levels, prior to entry to Universities in the UK or worldwide. 

It is expected that most students will take an EPQ during their first year of A levels and bespoke EAL courses are available for those whose first language is not English.

Requirements.

· Bachelor’s degree or similar

· PGCE/QTS or equivalent

· 3 years experience
