We are seeking applications for the following role at a school located in Sydney’s Upper North Shore. This reputable, Co-educational Roman Catholic school prides itself on having a safe and well organised learning environment to ensure students achieve their potential. 


About the Role:

• Stage 4 – 6 English Teacher 

• Capacity to teach Drama an advantage

• Full-time, Temporary position 

• (0.8FTE) load with the opportunity to teach casual (0.2FTE) to fulfil 1.0 FTE load

• Commencing Term 2, 2021 until the end of 2021 academic year

• View to become permanent in 2022


Selection Criteria:

• You will be an energetic English Teacher, and be able to teach Years 7 - 12

• Provide a minimum of two professional references

• Be registered, or have the ability to be registered with NESA & WWCC 

• Highly effective, skilled classroom practitioner committed to the ethos of the Catholic School

• Ability to understand the individual needs of students to maximise learning opportunities

• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a dynamic professional learning community
