The Governors of Blessed Trinity RC College are seeking to appoint an inspirational, enthusiastic and highly motivated English intervention teacher. The successful candidate must be able and willing to invest in our students through imaginative and effective approaches.  They will also be a key part of the departmental team, driving forward standards in English.   

The role would be ideally suited for a English Graduate or an experienced Primary School Teacher.  

The successful candidate will,  

• Teach English to a groups of pupils across key stages; • Be an excellent classroom practitioner; 

• Have a proven record of raising attainment for all pupils; 

• Have a clear understanding of how to meet the needs of all groups of pupils; 

• Have a flexible and creative approach to teaching and learning; 

• Be caring, motivated, enthusiastic and hardworking; 

• Be able to foster positive relationships with children, parents and staff.

Blessed Trinity RC College is a mixed, non-selective Roman Catholic secondary school, situated in Burnley, Lancashire. There are approximately 1,250 students at the college aged between 11-16.

Pupils are able to explore their Christian faith with optional Chapel drop ins during lunch.
