English Literature and Grammar for Lower Secondary

We are looking for an enthusiastic and energetic Teacher for lower secondary to join an upcoming English International School in Democratic Republic of Congo in the city of Lubumbashi.

The absence of quality English Education for ex-pats and locals urged the opening of an education system that meets the international standards. Our aim is to provide education of the highest standard, within a very friendly and supportive community. We are expecting an enthusiastic and very capable student body, coming from Congolese families as well as from the ex-pat and international communities, and pupils shall leave BIS for leading universities in the UK, USA and around the world.

Our lower secondary is a key one, given that many parents will be looking towards a safe and friendly environment where children get the best academics as well as a lot of other social and cultural skills.

We are seeking an exceptional Teacher of lower secondary who is truly enthusiastic about young children. You should have excellent sensitivity and be capable of working around the children aged 9 to 12 years.  What we really want is someone who can really excite and inspire our pupils and make the learning experience joyful. You must be able to support each individual’s growth and development, encouraging and inspiring them to achieve and be the best they can be.
