South Wiltshire UTC is a specialist STEM school for 14-19 year olds situated in the vibrant Wiltshire City of Salisbury. The UTC is now in its 3rd year.
We are looking to recruit a dedicated and enthusiastic teacher of English with excellent subject knowledge to join our STEM specialist school from September. Though STEM focused we understand that that English underpins every aspect of daily living and as such this subject enjoys a lead position in the school and you will be joining a team that has made a significant impact on the outcomes of our young people. If you possess the skills and determination to make a significant difference, contributing to our journey of improvement we would like to hear from you.
The closing date for receipt of completed applications is 15th June 2018 with interview held on the 19th.

South Wiltshire University Technical College (UTC) is a mixed, non-selective, non-denominational secondary school with sixth form in Wiltshire serving students from the age of 14-19. The secondary school, situated in Sailsbury has a capacity of 600 students. It is in partnership with organisations including the University of Southampton, Wiltshire Council, Wiltshire College, Royal Navy and Public Health England.
South Wiltshire University Technical College opened in 2015 and specialises in Science, Engineering and Computing. A UTC is a new type of practical learning environment where pupils learn practical skills alongside the traditional curriculum to develop their employability skills for the future. Each student is allocated their own laptop or tablet to access, along with £1 million specialist Science, Engineering and Computing equipment.
