St Anne’s RC Voluntary Academy has recently joined the Emmaus Catholic Academy Trust, so this is an exciting time for the school. The successful candidate will be driven, motivated and most of all, passionate about their subject area and an excellent classroom practitioner who can inspire and motivate students and other staff.

In addition, this role is responsible for leading whole school SEND with the SENDCo and raising standards of SEND attainment and achievement in line with national, diocesan and school policies/priorities. We are looking for someone with SEND experience who can co-ordinate provision mapping and deliver appropriate intervention programmes to identified students.

We are a fully comprehensive school, and the successful candidate will be able to engage, inspire and challenge students across the full range of ability. The candidate must be driven by ensuring that students receive an outstanding education which is reflected in outstanding student outcomes.

A commitment to excellent professional development, including supporting the NaSENDCo qualification for this role.

A rapidly improving school with a new body of staff committed to the Improvement of SA

£3million site renovations – all new rooves, windows, doors, heating  throughout the buildings

An outstanding SENDCo who ensures that SEND is at the forefront of the Quality of Education

Our strong Catholic Ethos at St Anne’s means we are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The successful applicant’s appointment will be subject to satisfactory references and satisfactory clearance by the Disclosure and Barring Service.
