English Teacher (A-level)

Dipont Education is seeking an English Teacher (A-level) to join our high school program at Wuxi N. 1 high school, a highly-reputed school in Jiangsu Province.

We are seeking an experienced and passionate English teacher to join our dynamic team. As an English teacher, you will be responsible for teaching IGCSE ESL and IGCSE Literature to students in grades 10-11, helping them develop their language skills and prepare for university studies.

Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver engaging lesson plans that align with the school curriculum and meet the needs of diverse learners
• Assess and provide feedback on student work to support their academic growth and achievement
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate effectively with parents and colleagues
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies and practices
• Actively participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Education, English, or a related field
• A recognized teaching license
• At least 2 years of experience teaching high school English
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Prior experience working in China is a plus

Background

The high school program was founded in 2005 and currently has four form entries with a total of 450 students between the ages of 15 to 18. We offer CIE IGSCE and GCE A-level courses in English, Maths, Further Maths, Economics, Chemistry, Physics, and Global Perspectives.
