Vision for Education are looking to speak with Teachers of English who are looking for a new challenge from September 2019. Vision for Education are currently in talks with a number of schools across the Chesterfield area, and have a need for a part-time (0.6) English Teacher for the start of the new academic year, September 2019 for at least 2 terms, potentially a full year.


The role

The desired English Teacher will be teaching classes across Key Stage 3 and 4, with a wide range of ability levels. This role would be suitable for both NQTs and experienced Teachers, but the school would ideally like someone who has recently taught English and English literature to GCSE Level.

The school is a large academy in Chesterfield who have a fantastic reputation in the area and a real sense of community. The students are generally well behaved and eager to learn. The school has a strong and supportive ethos throughout with their teachers pulling together as one all working towards the same goals.


Requirements

To be considered for the position of English Teacher, you will:


• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). 

• Have experience teaching Secondary English to GCSE level.

• Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of Teachers.

• Have a passion for teaching with the ability to plan and deliver inspiring lessons.
