We are looking to appoint an exceptional and driven professional who will join a highly successful, enthusiastic and talented team and work with us to inspire our students. The role will involve teaching English, potentially across 3 key stages, and would be suitable for an ECT in particular. Working together with the team, the successful candidate would be involved in the perpetual review and design of a broad and challenging English curriculum which puts reading at its centre.
Debden Park High School is a heavily oversubscribed Academy that Ofsted judged to be Outstanding in January 2017. We constantly achieve outstanding outcomes for our students. English is an extremely popular and successful subject at GCSE and A Level.
We have a passionate and energetic English team, who work collaboratively, are well resourced and dedicated to developing the full potential of our students. The successful candidate will join an already outstanding team and will be someone who is visionary, innovative and committed to moving learning forward in an exciting and active way.
We are part of a family of schools within the Kemnal Academies Trust. Every week staff take part in 2 hours of Debden Minds which is a bespoke CPD programme focusing primarily on the development of teaching & learning. We provide exceptional career progression for staff, which leads to our Middle and Senior Leadership teams being composed of many teachers who began their career with us. We lead the Essex hub of the TKAT SCITT.

Debden Park High School was established in September 1999 on a tiny site in Chigwell, before moving to its current buildings in September 2001.
