St Philip Howard Catholic Voluntary Academy, part of the St Ralph Sherwin Catholic Multi-Academy Trust is seeking to appoint a highly skilled and motivated Teacher of English to join our busy, hardworking team.
We would like to hear from Teachers who:
• can actively promote the Catholic ethos of the academy
• have the ability to secure high quality student outcomes
• are dedicated to providing the best possible outcomes for all the pupils
• have a sound knowledge and commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
• have a thorough understanding of the National Curriculum and KS4 exam context in order to support effective teaching and learning.
St Philip Howard Catholic Voluntary Academy is an 11-16 secondary school located in the heart of the local community of Glossop in the High Peak Borough of Derbyshire. With 527 students currently on roll, it opened on 1st September 2015 and is under dynamic sponsorship of the Nottingham Roman Catholic Diocese Education Service where it continues to build on the strong spiritual and moral framework that has helped make the school so very popular over the years.
We are seeking a consistently good classroom teacher who is committed to delivering outstanding results from all students.
