If so, here is the unique opportunity to use your experience and skills in alternative provision teaching and curriculum development, and your contribution will be valued as part of a pioneering approach to teaching in Alternative Provision.

The Boxing Academy is a ground-breaking and unique school which uses boxing training in parallel with academic study for young people for whom mainstream school is no longer an option. In March last year approval was granted for us to become a Free School and, as part of that transition, the academy buildings are undergoing significant extension, adaptation and refurbishment to provide amazing facilities to support learning, developing life skills and upgrade our boxing ring.

As a subject teacher in a department of one, this is your opportunity to deliver accessible, dynamic and interesting lessons to young people with a range of needs and difficulties; your challenge will be to improve outcomes and differentiate creatively to motivate and inspire at all levels. You will remain calm, be self confident, demonstrate a strong interest in working with challenging pupils and, importantly, understand the values and ethos of boxing.
