English Teacher - ICS

About the Position

As our School continues to expand, ICS is looking to appoint an exceptional English teacher to join our talented team. We’re looking for the right blend of energy, enthusiasm and experience alongside a background of developing pupils and supporting their growth. The successful candidate will be able to teach general English in KS1/2 or Elementary, experience teaching Drama would also be of use as our Secondary school continues to expand.

You will work as part of a wider team, sharing the planning, and supporting each other in your daily roles. A generous amount of release time is provided to enable excellent planning and assessment to occur during the school day. Weekly meetings ensure continuous professional development and time to engage with peer led learning.

The successful applicants will have the following attributes:    

• A certified teaching qualification and an accompanying degree such as B.Ed, PGCE, PGDE with a English specialism.    
• At minimum 2 years of recent and demonstrable English teaching experience at a British or American Curriculum School   
• Either be an English speaker or have IELTS with Minimum score 7.0 
• Confidence in teaching English Language
• The desire to provide Outstanding teaching and learning    
• Knowledge of Google classrooms, google drive and the associated programs would be desirable 
• Experience teaching Drama would also be a desirable.

About the Package

We offer a competitive salary package that includes a tax-free salary of between 9,000 and 13,000aed per month based on experience and qualifications, free accommodation, an annual return ticket to your home country, medical insurance and end of service gratuity, along with a comprehensive induction program and continuing professional development.
