The role:
We're recruiting for a dedicated and passionate teacher of English. The successful candidate should hold a recognised teaching qualification, be experienced and if possible hold a recent DBS clearance, if needed one can be applied for. They should ideally have experience teaching A level English. They will, in the first instance, be expected to deliver the following courses: A Level English Literature and GCSE resits. They will also be required to take responsibility for a tutor group. The role will begin in February2020 and run up until the May in the first instance.
To be considered for the English Teacher role you must:
Be a passionate and innovative English Teacher
Hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or QTLS
Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of secondary teachers who put children at the heart of everything they do
Have a passion for teaching with the ability to plan and deliver inspiring lessons
Have very high expectations of students and staff alike
