We are looking for an English Teacher to join our team at Belmont School. The ideal candidate will have experience working with pupils presenting challenging behaviour.

About the role

We are looking for an experienced English Teacher to join our fantastic team at Belmont Secondary School, Rawtenstall. As an English Teacher, you will take a creative approach to teaching pupils according to their educational needs, ensuring delivery of the school curriculum in a way that maximises children’s achievement and ability to develop.

The teacher is responsible for high quality teaching to ensure the effective delivery of the school’s curriculum. The ideal candidate will successfully set a vision and targets for pupil success and be confident in using their knowledge and expertise to monitor progress, give regular feedback and encouraging our young people to take a responsible and conscientious attitude to their own work and study.

When it comes to looking after our children, we never settle for second best. We are looking for a Teacher, who shares our vision to build incredible futures by empowering vulnerable young people in the UK, to be happy and to make their way in the world.

Whilst previous experience of working in a specialist environment would be desirable, excellent teaching skills and the right motivation, personal qualities and levels of resilience are just as important.

Educated to Qualified Teacher Status and Degree in English, you will be calm, engaging, resilient, and have an innovative style of teaching, motivated by helping every child to reach their potential.
