We are excited to announce an opening for an English Teacher to join our team at our newly established academy in Frindsbury, Strood.
The successful candidate will be a qualified English Teacher or ECT with a strong passion for teaching and learning. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic about embracing new ideas, demonstrates a positive attitude, and possesses excellent interpersonal skills. As an effective classroom practitioner, you will be capable of planning and delivering a dynamic and engaging curriculum, while keeping up-to-date with the latest curriculum developments.
As a valued member of our team, you will maintain high expectations for both student achievement and behaviour. You will be dedicated to fostering student engagement, encouraging progress, and inspiring a lifelong love of learning.

Maritime Academy opened in September 2022 with our first cohort of Year 7 students and are proud to have formally opened our state-of-the-art school building earlier this year. As a growing school, we will be welcoming our next cohort of students in September 2025 and are therefore seeking staff to join us on our ‘Voyage’ as we develop our Academy together.
