The successful applicant will be expected to teach across the whole-ability range up to GCSE and, potentially, A Level. They will join an excellent and welcoming faculty and a school thoroughly committed to professional development.
Applications are welcome from both experienced teachers and those who are newly qualified. Although the exact proportion of teaching and allocated days are open to discussion and negotiation, we would look to appoint on a minimum commitment of 0.4.
Most importantly, we are looking for a teacher with infectious enthusiasm who is able to communicate clearly, is sensitive to the needs of young adults and has the ability to use initiative and vision to encourage others. We expect the person to work as part of a team and be willing to participate in all aspects of school life.
