We are looking for an innovative Teacher to join our English Department. We aim to provide all pupils with first-class literary and language skills to prepare them for further education and/or employment. The team are determined to do all they can to help each and every pupil to be successful and are keen to appoint someone who shares this ethos.

We’re seeking determined and enthusiastic Teachers who can:

  • engage and enthuse our learners through a commitment to outstanding teaching and learning;
  • contribute to the further development of a strong and forward-looking team;
  • be innovative in their techniques to motivate and inspire young people;
  • build positive relationships with staff, pupils and parents alike.

The new Stanground Academy opened on 1 April 2012 and is one of the Greenwood Academies Trust’s Group of Academies, replacing the predecessor Stanground College. The Academy has since undergone a £24M building project and now boasts state of the art” buildings providing academic, vocational and sports facilities for pupils and staff.  These include fully-equipped specialist rooms, extensive sports facilities, a dance studio, a theatre and high tech ICT equipment.
