Job overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic English teacher to join our small and friendly staff team at Burstow Park School.
We are an Independent Special School for pupils aged 11-18 years. We cater for boys and girls, and all student shave an EHCP. We specialise in supporting students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs as well as Autistic Spectrum Conditions, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorders and a range of further additional needs.
We deliver a full GCSE curriculum to students in small class groups of up to 5 students. All class groups are supported by a specialist Teaching Assistant.
This role gives the right candidate an excellent opportunity to work in a targeted way with highly vulnerable students.
