Unsted Park School are looking to recruit an outstanding English Teacher to join our Teaching team! We are looking for an ambitious, energetic and committed teacher who will expand the learning experiences of our pupils.   The successful candidate will be teaching and supporting our young people who may have autism, emotional behavioural difficulties, ADHD and associated complex needs.

Unsted Park School is an established ASD specialist school, with a proven track record of continued success.  The school is rated by Ofsted as ‘Good’ (2019, 2020 and 2021 in school, residential and material change inspections) with the potential to be graded outstanding in its next inspection. There is no requirement to be experienced in SEN / ASD and we would welcome NQT / Early Career Teachers, or more experienced teachers to apply.

Resilience – We support some of the most vulnerable children in society who have varying degrees of emotional behavioural difficulties, autism, ADHD and associated difficulties so there will be times where your resilience is challenged.  

Communication – Communicating with our young people is vital to understand their needs.  Good teamwork and communication plays a key part in ensuring important information is relayed to other staff.

Organisation – You will have experience of organising, planning and teaching well-structured lessons tailored to the needs of the pupils as well as monitoring each students learning needs, adapting teaching to respond to the strengths and needs of each pupil.

Caring – Our young people require the best care we can offer.  If you are a naturally caring and compassionate person, this is the role for you.

Attentive – No two tasks will be the same so being attentive to understand the needs of the young people we support is vital

About Unsted Park School and Sixth Form

Through our services at Unsted Park School and Sixth Form, we provide specialist education and care to young people aged 7 to 19 years with high functioning autism, Asperger Syndrome and associated disorders.
