ACS International Schools are recruiting an English Teacher to join the team at ACS Cobham International School.

The English Teacher will be required to teach English to grade 11, DP1 TOK and also Creative Writing.

The post holder will work as part of the High School team at ACS Cobham and you will be working within a campus of outstanding facilities in a beautiful countryside setting, inclusive of world-class facilities like our swimming pool, sports centre, and state-of-the-art theatre.

Essential Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • Educated to Bachelors degree or international equivalent as a minimum in the relevant subject
  • A teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent)
  • Experience teaching within MS/HS is required
  • Strong IT skills, preferably with Apple products
  • Significant experience and willingness to integrate technology to improve teaching and learning
  • Fluent in both verbal and written English
  • Experience of teaching in an international school.

About ACS Cobham International School

ACS Cobham International School is a mixed, mainstream, all-through school with sixth form, for students aged 2-18. This independent school is located in Cobham, Surrey, and has approximately 1300 students enrolled.

ACS Cobham International School was founded in 1975 and is one of four ACS schools in England and Qatar. Boarding was added in 1988 and the school generally caters for expatriate families who have relocated to the UK. It boasts a purpose-built dining room, a separate theatre complex with performing arts facilities, and a gymnasium.
