We are looking for an inspirational teacher to join our English Department to teach English to A level from September 2017. Our English department is very successful and 2016 saw 63% of GCSE grades were A*-A, and 95% of A2 grades were A*-C. We welcome applications from newly qualified and experienced teachers.
The ideal candidates will be high calibre individuals who can consistently display a hard work ethic, professionalism, flexibility and enthusiasm.
The successful candidates will be required to contribute to the development of appropriate syllabuses, resources, schemes of work, marking policies, assessment and teaching and learning strategies in the department.
Participation in extra-curricular departmental activities including assemblies and workshops is expected as well as contribution to whole school extracurricular activities.

Lingfield College is a vibrant and highly successful independent day school for children aged 0–18 years, located in the Surrey countryside on the Kent and Sussex borders, just 30 minutes from London.
