Al Nahda School is seeking enthusiastic, adaptable and committed English teachers for August 2017.
 

The Al Nahda name has been synonymous throughout the city for high quality education and pastoral care since 1983.  The school is a successful, well-established school with an excellent reputation and was recently rated a Band ‘A’ School in an ADEC full school inspection. The school is a member of NEASC and CIS.  
 

Al Nahda school is a bilingual private school from FS1 to Year 13, delivering the English National Curriculum and the American High school curriculum alongside Arabic Language, Islamic Studies and Social Studies. The students are taught in single-sex classes.
 

Applicants must lead by example and play a full part in the School’s pastoral care and extra-curricular activities programme. Successful applicants  need to be sympathetic with the ethos and values of Al Nahda School, a school with a high population of Emirati/Arab students. The successful candidate will be an effective communicator, confident in establishing open communication with students, staff and parents.
 

Applicants must have a teaching degree (Bachelor in Education) in English or any Post Graduate degree in Education and have a minimum of 2 years’ experience of teaching in schools that follow a British curriculum.  Non-Bachelor in Education English degrees may be considered with four years’ experience.
