English Tutor - Fixed Term

£11,849-£12,319 actual salary per annum

Monday to Friday 8.30am - 3.00pm

30 hours per week, 39 working weeks (term time plus five non-student days)

Fixed term contract until 23 July 2019

We are looking for an inspirational English Tutor to join us and provide intervention support to students in order to support raising attainment. 

With a minimum Level 3 English qualification, you will be able to demonstrate the talent and  interpersonal skills and a range of teaching strategies. Above all, you must have a passion for English and be able to inspire and motivate your students. 

This role presents an exciting opportunity for applicants who have a degree (or are studying for a degree), as you gain experience to potentially develop a career within teaching.  A number of our support staff have progressed to our School Direct Teacher Training programme, for further information on this programme, please contact Jodie Day on 07825 330257.

This position is initially based at Maltings Academy. However, as we work closely with our sister academy, New Rickstones Academy (also in Witham), all new contracts are to work across both academies. 

This is a fixed term post (dependent Pupil Premium funding) and is required to commence as soon as possible.
