Enhanced Pupil Support Teacher

An exciting opportunity has arisen at Breadalbane School for a class teacher to work with a group of children in an enhanced support class.  This  provides support  for children who experience barriers to learning and development that are consistent with Autism Spectrum Disorder and associated conditions.  The children display difficulties relating to others, communicating effectively, regulating behaviours and thinking flexibly.  Many have sensory and/or motor difficulties, problems in managing attention, controlling impulsivity and hyperactivity.

This  specialist support team will work collaboratively to plan the learning opportunities for each child to ensure the content is meaningful, relevant and delivered in a structured and predictable way to best meet the individual learning needs.

If you are already employed as a teacher with Perth & Kinross Council, you are only required to provide 1 reference, which must be from your current head teacher.
