The Wellington Academy is a highly inclusive, innovative school, which opened in 2009 to serve the Tidworth area of Wiltshire and is situated on the Wiltshire/Hampshire border, within close proximity of the A303 and A34. Recently graded ‘Good’ by OFSTED, the Wellington Academy has transformed itself into a high performing school over the past three years.

The Wellington Academy runs an Enrichment Programme for our Years 7 to 9 students. We are seeking Enrichment Tutors to teach small groups of students. If you have extensive knowledge of a subject area such as martial arts, singing, drama, arts, photography, coding, or computer programming and would like to share this with the next generation to help inspire them then please apply. You should have a desire to make a difference, calm and focused approach, the ability to be flexible, work as part of a team, and have a good sense of humour. Previous classroom based experience would be an advantage.
OFSTED noted that ‘The quality of school leadership has improved since the previous inspection. As a result, expectations of what pupils can achieve are higher. Leaders have created a culture in which high standards of behaviour are expected and pupils are encouraged to succeed.’
