Job overview

As a Tes Institute Enrolment Advisor, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, by conducting high-level informative conversations with warm leads and potential applicants for our teacher training courses.

You must be a quick learner who is a motivated, goal-driven individual with strong people skills. We are looking for a versatile individual who is comfortable with proactively engaging with people from different backgrounds and for whom English may not be their first language. This role therefore requires a very high level of written and verbal communication skills along with an excellent customer service ethos


Roles & Responsibilities:


• Conduct high volumes of daily outbound calls to warm marketing leads

• Supporting the school partnerships and marketing team to hit montjly and brackets enrolement (revenue) targets

• Build relationships with prospective trainees by discovering their needs and concerns

• Advise potential trainee on the different routes into teaching and the routes that are likely to suit them

• Manage leads from initial enquiry through to application submitted 

• Occasional cold calling activities to prospect for new leads and opportunties

• Day-to-day responsibility for inbound leads and enquiries, answering calls and emails, dealing with questions and information request

• Ensure the Salesforce CRM system is kept up to date and data related to this on other platforms are updated as required for reporting across the team

• Set up meetings for the School Partnerships Team and conduct desk based research on opportunities that the team are working on 

• Build and develop strong working relationships and processes with programme staff to ensure high quality communication between both teams and efficiency when converting inbound leads to programme participants

• Provide feedback to marketing teams on what leads and customers are saying about Tes Institute products and insights gained from conversations that are taking place

• Ensure that leads remain engaged and move throughout the sale funnel through lead engagement emails with relevant industry and programme content

• Work closely with partnership management team to ensure leads are properly qualified referred where necessary to wider sales teams across Tes

• Undertaking adminstrative tasks to support the wider team and were required attend events on behalf of the company


Qualifications/Skills:

To be successful in this position you will need to have/be:

• Ambitious, results-orientated and focused 

• Excellent communication skills in English (reading, writing and speaking)

• Excellent customer service skills with a service orientated approach

• Advisory/consultative approach to selling

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• A positive attitude and willingness to get involved in new projects

• Comfortable in high-pressure environments

• Sensitivity to cultural and linguistic differences

• Strong IT skills - Excel, Word and Powerpoint

• Excellent organisational skills

• Proven ability to meet deadlines and targets

Desirable:

• Hold a degree or have equivalent experience 

• At least 6 months experience in a similar consultative sales or recruitment role

• Experience in the education industry or a good understanding of the education market

• Understanding and experience using salesforce or similar CRM system and experience with customer service software systems

• Knowledge of the UK and British International School system
