McAuley Catholic Central School is located in Tumut, NSW.  Tumut is a picturesque and friendly town of around 6000 people located in the Snowy Mountains, an easy 2 hour drive from Canberra and an hour to Wagga.

The school enrols approximately  340 students in Years K-10.  Being a Central School gives us the unique opportunity to work with students and families for almost the majority of their educational journey.  The school staff continue to work to build an excellent reputation for high level academic results and strong and authentic pastoral care.

We seek applications from suitably qualified Primary Teachers who are interested in joining a highly committed and professional staff who place pastoral care at the core of their work. There may be a variety of positions available Primary Campuses. Applicants should clearly note their field of expertise (Primary) and their preference for Temporary or Permanent placement.

Applications are invited from interested candidates able to demonstrate a commitment to the aims of Catholic Education.

Please note that there are multiple full-time/part-time temporary/permanent positions commencing the start of the 2021 school year. A pro-rata salary amount will be paid for part-time appointments.

This position involves working with children. The appointment of successful applicants will be subject to satisfactory employment screening for child related employment in accordance with CE policy.
