ESOL Lecturer

Barking & Dagenham College is a vibrant and highly successful College in East London with circa 12,500 students, circa 500 established staff and a turnover of £35m. The College offers routes into learning from entry level through to MBA level, including apprenticeships, higher level apprentices, higher education and job centre plus clients. Barking & Dagenham College is looking for an ESOL Lecturer who is able to teach on a range from Pre-Entry to Level 1 for our ESOL adult learners. 

You will develop and prepare course materials and associated lesson plans and schemes of work; monitor and track learner progress and maintain up to date records; support learners with learning difficulties and participate in ESOL team activities. You will also be able to undertake assessor and internal verification role; promote the College through marketing events and delivery of new courses; take part in enrolment, admissions and induction of learners. You will have the understanding of the importance of Safe Guarding in the workplace and an awareness of Equality and Diversity. You will undertake pastoral care and guidance to support learners.
