Northern Education Trust is a DFE approved charity that sponsors academies to ensure that every student achieves their full potential. The Trust sponsors 20 academies; 10 secondary and 10 primaries across the North of England in ten Local authority regions. There may be some requirement to travel to academies across the Trust.

We are seeking an experienced candidate to work in the above key position within the Trust. The ideal candidate will have experience of working in an estates and facilities support role and in the formulating of planned maintenance activities. 

You will have a knowledge of the Health and Safety regulations relating to Estates functions and an understanding of the relevant legislation and regulatory requirements underpinning the education and academies sector. You will also have first-rate organisational and ICT skills including the ability to multi task and manage a number of conflicting priorities in ensuring that the Trust estate complies with the relevant Health and Safety legislation and ensure that statutory obligations are adhered to. 

You will be responsible for supporting the management of a range of external contracts to ensure that services are delivered as agreed and you will support the Director of Estates in all areas of estate management for the academies within the Trust estate.
