Job overview

Rodborough School is seeking a skilled and committed estates assistant to join our friendly and well-motivated Estates Team. Your role will be crucial to ensuring that this successful and thriving school is able to fully fulfil its’ educational and community roles.

The successful candidate will work across the site, carrying out mix of scheduled routine tasks, reacting to estates issues in a timely fashion when they arise, as well as working with the rest of the site team and external contractors to keep the site well-maintained and supporting improvements in line with the school’s estates development plan.

Candidates should have a track record of reliability, demonstrate the ability to work effectively as part of a team and be self-motivated and able to work independently. Trade specific skills such as carpentry or plumbing are also an advantage in this role, although training will be given to the successful candidate to support them carrying out their role.

Rodborough is proud to be a member of the Weydon Multi-Academy Trust (WMAT) and works closely in partnership with other schools in the Trust. We are recognised nationally for our work in partnership with the National Autistic Society supporting autistic students within a mainstream school environment. We are also designated a ‘Leading Edge’ School through the SSAT for our consistently strong student outcomes.
