Job overview

Bosco Catholic Education Trust is looking to appoint an ambitious, hardworking and experienced Estates Compliance Manager to work with schools across Sussex.

The purpose of the role is:

· to support Premises Managers in each school in undertaking the necessary tasks to keep the built-estate compliant with health and safety and other relevant legislation,

· to ensure that the compliance data in our Parago asset management system is correct,

· to report to trustees on health and safety and other compliance matters.

This will be the first central estates post within the trust. Over time we would anticipate the central estates team will grow and so flexibility to a changing operating environment is a key requirement in the postholder as is the ability to establish their credibility with Business Managers and Premises Managers in each school.

If you want to work with wonderful staff, students, and a forward-thinking leadership team, this is the job for you. We are always striving to improve and we’d love you to be part of this journey.

 · Bosco Catholic Education Trust is the diocesan Trust for Catholic schools in Sussex.

· There are currently eight schools in the Trust (2 secondary and 6 primary) however we anticipate a further 3 schools joining most years up to a maximum of 36 schools by 2030.

· Schools within the Trust collaborate well and have a strong track-record of school improvement.

· We have a central team consisting of an Executive Finance & Operations Officer, Chief Finance & Operations Officer, Education Team, Administrative Support and CEO.

· Our Trust Board is experienced, capable, strategic and offer excellent support and challenge.
