HOURS OF WORK: 37.5 hours per week, 52 weeks per year. Time off in lieu may be available for additional work undertaken in busy periods. Hours by negotiation, flexible not fixed, however, preferred working hours are 10.00am-6.00pm with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break. Job share may be considered with Senior Estates Officer role: 2.00-10.00pm or alternating shift patterns of 10.00am-6.00pm on week 1, and 2.00pm-10.00pm on week 2.

We are looking to appoint an Estates Officer who can efficiently and effectively support the busy working schedule of the school Estates Department. You will need to be well-organised, practical, a team player, physically strong and be able to work as directed or independently. 

  • Do you possess strong people skills with the ability to be flexible?
  • Can you work in a team, be a self-starter and show empathy to others?
  • Do you understand the need to conduct work-related tasks in a safe and responsible way, with due care and attention to how your work practices impacts the health and safety of the overall workplace? 
  • Do you enjoy building maintenance and possess skills to complete general building works?

The principal role for this post is to provide general estates support to the school community.

Contract: 37.5 hours per week, 52 weeks per year. Annual leave entitlement of 25 days plus Bank Holidays.
