Job overview

We are currently seeking a reliable and self-motivated permanent full time Estates Team member to assist with day to maintenance at our outstanding Sixth Form College. The successful candidate should be organised, enthusiastic and flexible to meet the needs of a busy College.

Duties will include carrying out general day-to-day maintenance tasks, locking and securing buildings and grounds. With on call duties and additional payments. The Estates teamwork shifts on a weekly rota basis Monday-Friday, with some Saturdays providing cover for the Weekend Estates Team Member (Lettings).

• Salary: SP6 – SP7 £7,915.14 - £8,078.51

• Hours:  15 hours a week, all year round, shift pattern between 7am and 9.30pm.  

• Contract: Part time, permanent

• Start Date: tba

Richard Huish College is a Sixth Form College situated in Taunton, the County town of Somerset. Huish prides itself on its academic excellence and strong reputation across Somerset and the Southwest, it is more than a Sixth Form College, it is a place where students can expand their horizons and develop their futures.
