Job overview

Evendons Primary School is part of the Bellevue Place Education Trust

(BPET). The BPET vision is for all pupils to receive a broad and balanced

curriculum that combines academic rigour with highly enriched

opportunities that deliver a personalised approach to education and

exceptional outcomes for all.

Evendons Primary School is a two-form entry primary school which

opened in September 2014 as a non-selective, non-denominational, co-

educational school, which welcomes children of all abilities and

backgrounds.

In February 2024, Evendons was judged by Ofsted as continuing to be an

Outstanding school, as it had previously been judged as “Outstanding” in

2017.

The school currently has 412 pupils on roll aged from 4-11 years old. Pupil

achievement is high, with 78% of Year 6 pupils meeting the expected

standard in reading, writing and maths through the SATs in 2024. This is

17% above the national average. Attendance is a strength with whole

school attendance sitting at 97.8% and persistent absence at 5.6%.

This role is an exciting opportunity for the new Headteacher to lead an

excellent school to the next level, delivering the BPET and school visions.

We are seeking a senior leader in the primary sector. You will have a

strong track record in leadership and core learning and be capable of

interpreting, developing and implementing the BPET education vision.

Your excellent communications skills will be vital in promoting the

school to the local community and delivering a high standard of

education through a broad and balanced curriculum.

Our focus is for the school to deliver the BPET vision to a very high

standard.

In return, you will get that rarest of opportunities: the chance to lead a

well-established and successful school, and ensure that every element is

optimised to deliver the highest level of teaching and learning.

Furthermore, you will receive unparalleled access to support and career

advancement through our network of schools and CPD programme.

We know that our schools need the best Headteachers to lead them. If

you are a dedicated and talented senior leader, we would be delighted

to hear from you.
