St. Edward’s Oxford has an exciting internship opportunity for an individual looking to develop their skills and gain experience in administration, events support and communications.

St Edward’s is affectionately known within our Community as Teddies. The ‘Beyond Teddies’ team are a small, friendly group that looks after Partnerships, Community and Fundraising. We provide innovative and creative engagement opportunities that will attract all generations of alumni as well as parents and local community residents to create new opportunities for support, community service and fundraising.

The Events and Communications Intern will be an integral part of the team and your day-to-day duties will include:

  • Administrative support, including managing the telephone and inbox, diary management and travel support and updating social media posts
  • Event support including admin preparation and attendance at events if appropriate 
  • Data input and cleansing for the CRM ThankQ database 

You’ll have the opportunity to learn and explore all parts of this position and develop your skills before finding a permanent post. Time will be given for training and development and specific areas of interest within the realms of the role can be focused upon. 

Educated to degree level or equivalent, you will have experience of MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint), alongside strong numerical, analytical and organisational skills and meticulous planning and attention to detail.
