Job overview

Manor House School will celebrate its 100-year anniversary in the academic year 2020/21 and this brings an exciting opportunity for someone to join our amazing team. Organising a range of celebratory events and marketing initiatives to mark 100 years will be the main focus of this new position but you will also raise money toward the centenary financial target to contribute towards the future development plan for the school.

The Role

This new role at Manor House will primarily involve communication with existing and former pupils, parents and staff with a focus on marketing, events and fund-raising. You will represent the school and assist the organising committee of the Friends of Manor House with all events and fundraising initiatives. Events for the centenary year will include a self-funded centenary ball and garden party, raffle, 100 themed events and other marcom initiatives.

The role is for 2.5 days (18.75 hours) term time only and we are happy to consider candidates interested in flexible hours and is offered on a temporary contract basis to be reviewed after 2 years.

Manor House School is nestled in seventeen acres of magical gardens, woodlands and sports fields that makes our beautiful school a very special place to learn and grow.  The magnificent country house, complemented with state of the art educational facilities, is brought alive by the creative and positive energy of the girls who choose to learn here. We are a selective independent school for girls aged 2-16 years (with boys in the Nursery and Kindergarten), located in the village of Bookham, Surrey.
